Overview of the Alabama Ballet in Gorham's Bluff

The Alabama Ballet, founded in 1981, in Birmingham, but is planning events around the state. Tracey Alvey has been artistic director of the group. Their mission is to support and promote the development of classical and contemporary ballet through high quality performance, education and social commitment. The Alabama Ballet is the 13th Years of return to their residential summer program Gorham's Bluff, near Scottsboro, Alabama. Overlooks the beautiful valley of the Tennessee River from hundreds of feet above the river, the Bluff Side Dance Tent on Gorham's Bluff is a unique and suggestive performance.

Thursday evening, August12, will host the traditional test for Discovery ballet dance workshops and performances for children and their parents. Activities will begin at 18:00 and are free. On 13 and 14 August, the Ballet will present outdoor performances for the side Bluff Dance Tent. Before you can patrons can enjoy dinner by Chef at 7:00 of Gorham made available.
